In memory & celebration of Chloe

Updated: Aug 29, 2020

This blog is very difficult to write, but at the same time I want it to be a celebration

We have chosen September to raise awareness and much needed funds for The London’s Air Ambulance, an amazing charity so very close to our hearts.

September 22nd marks the 2nd anniversary of Our Chloe passing away, for us as a family with every day that passes isa constant reminder that Chloe is no longer here, everydaythere is a special memory of the fantastic, funny, caring, determined, beautiful young woman she was.

London’s Air Ambulance played such an important role in our lives, March 2016 Chloe was suddenly & unexpectedly taken very seriously ill and was unresponsive, LAA were called and within minutes were at our home, the Doctors & Paramedics placed Chloe in an induced coma &skilled pilots airlifted her back to The Royal London Hospital, home of LAA.

With expert care and attention after a few months Chloe fought back, her sheer determination saw her return & complete her final year at Canterbury University graduating and almost immediately starting her dream job in intelligence with Surrey Police.

LAA bought A&E to our home, without them Chloe would not have survived, we are forever grateful for the 2 and half years they gave Chloe and our family.

Everyday LAA   are called to approximately 5 of the most serious incidents, working within the M25, they carry all the equipment on board that is found in A&E with specialists Trauma Dr’s & Paramedics, the Pilots navigate the busy airspace & the challenges faced landing in and around London.

Everyone involved with LAA from the medics and pilots, the charity staff & the volunteers very quickly become part of the family.

Soy Happy started off as a small hobby, blending different essential oils to help Chloe with anxiety & low mood following her illness and diagnosis. As a family we support LAA whether that be shaking a bucket at Sporting events or train stations, attending events to share our story, runningmarathons or abseiling of the highest helipad in Europe 😱

They need funds, volunteers & awareness raised now more than ever.

They need your help and hope you never need theirs.

All our profit for the month of September will be donated in Chloe’s memory to LAA.

Please visit www.londonsairambulance.co.uk to find out more about this incredible charity

Thank you so much for your support now and always.
